사진을 찍는다는 것은 일상을 담고 싶다는 마음과 잠깐의 멈춤이 가능한 여유 가 있어야 가능하다는 생각을 해보며 야근을 하다가 배민을 켰다. 쿠팡 미션 이벤트 시작시간이 이미 많이 지나서 미션이 없는 대신 단가가 조금 더 좋은 배민으로 시작한 것.
통닭 순대국밥 통닭 햄버거 통닭 햄버거 비마트 요거트 유부우동 등 분식 엽떡 통닭인 걸로 기억한다. 배민앱은 직전일 내역조회가 안되네. 10건이고 대략 34천 원 정도 소득으로 잡혔다. 한 시간 일찍 시작했더라면 보너스 30천 원 추가로 원천세 상당을 더 벌 수 있었을 텐데 배달이 끊임없이 들어오진 않아 두 시간 만에 7건을 배달하지는 못했다. 보통 한건당 15분 이내 소요되는 듯. 픽업지 대기나 손님 대기 사유로 더 걸리는 경우가 대부분이다. 배달이 뜸해 쿠팡도 했다.
통닭과 국밥을 손님들께 전해 드렸는데 국밥손님은 어는 엘베를 타면 가까운지를 알려주시는 메모를 남겨주셔서 감동이 있었다. 특히 대형 주복은 이동거리만큼 엘베진입 후 전달까지 시간도 꽤 걸리는데 이를 배려해 주신 것.
늦게 시작한 만큼 늦게 마무리하고 카카오 대리앱을 켰는데 다행히 콜이 많았다. 충전 양치 몸녹음 등 개인정비를 하면서 콜을 잡는데 운 좋게 같은 방향 경유콜을 잡아 단가도 좋고 집까지 걸어갈 수 있는 손님을 만났다. 4만 원. 두 시간 넘게 찬바람 맞으면 음식을 날랐는데 벤츠 손님을 만나 따뜻하고 편안한 운전석에 앉아 거의 집까지 잘 갔다. 경유 손님이라 두 분이서 열심히 대화를 하셨고 그 덕분에 나는 더 편하게 안전운전과 귀가만 생각할 수 있었다.
오늘도 다행이고 감사한 하루.
I was thinking about how taking pictures requires both the desire to capture everyday life and the luxury of a momentary pause, when I suddenly found myself opening the Baemin app in the middle of working overtime. I had already missed the start time for Coupang Eats' mission event, so I opted for Baemin, which had slightly better base pay despite the lack of missions.
As I recall, I delivered chicken, sundaegukbap (Korean blood sausage soup), chicken, hamburgers, chicken, hamburgers, Bmart yogurt, yubu udon (fried tofu udon) and other snacks, tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), and chicken. It's a shame the Baemin app doesn't allow you to check the previous day's delivery history. I completed 10 deliveries, earning approximately 34,000 won. If I had started an hour earlier, I could have earned an extra 30,000 won bonus, which would have significantly boosted my earnings after tax. Unfortunately, the orders weren't consistent, so I couldn't complete 7 deliveries within two hours to qualify for the bonus. Usually, each delivery takes less than 15 minutes. Most delays are caused by waiting at the pickup location or waiting for the customer.
Since Baemin orders were slow, I also worked for Coupang Eats. I delivered chicken and gukbap to customers. One gukbap customer left a note indicating which elevator would be closest to their apartment, which was a thoughtful touch. Large apartment complexes often involve considerable walking distances, and even after getting into the elevator, it takes time to reach the customer's door. I appreciated their consideration.
Since I started late, I finished late. I opened the Kakao T app for a ride home, and thankfully, there were many requests. While charging my phone, brushing my teeth, and warming up, I looked for a ride. Luckily, I found a ride request going in the same direction with a good fare and a customer who lived within walking distance of my place. 40,000 won! After more than two hours of delivering food in the cold wind, I met a kind Benz owner and enjoyed a warm and comfortable ride almost all the way home. It was a shared ride, so the two passengers were engrossed in conversation, which allowed me to focus solely on driving safely and getting home.
Another day to be thankful for.
